There are plenty of gridlock situations in the Sunshine State when drivers get stuck in traffic — right in the middle of an intersection. It’s an awkward position, but do you have to worry about getting a ticket?

I never get "stuck" when turning left in a green light. I yield to oncoming traffic and wait in the intersection until the oncoming traffic has to stop (yellow to red); then turn quickly. Easy. Don't be the knuckle head sitting in the intersection when it truns green for the other side.
Yes, you can get a ticket. Wait your behind for the intersection to clear before you enter. Even if it takes a few additional minutes. You will block all traffic and make everything worse. Don’t be the problem, be part of the solution 🤷🏽‍♀️😜
put simply...if you are in the intersection when the light turns red, you have run the red light
Why would you get stuck at an intersection? Who in their right mind drives forward when the box isn't clear?
Would you wait on a railroad track for the traffic to move??? Just saying. 🤷‍♀️
Impatience Drivers make the choice to cross the line when the traffic box is not clear and there is nothing that can be done to fix that; drivers have to make smarter choices.
