Dating in 2026 is exhausting.
So many people are scared of commitment
So many people are emotionally unavailable
So many people just want “casual” situationships or sex because they want to keep their options open
Swiping and social media has everyone thinking of dating like shopping on Amazon
No one seems intentional.
No one seems interested in deep meaningful conversations anymore.
Everyone just ghosts everyone
Everyone uses filters (yes even men!) – on top of makeup, or 10 year old photos of themselves that are more flattering
No one is genuine.
At this point…I’mma need a 500 word essay, a RECENT selfie and full body photo with you holding a piece of paper with today’s date on it, and $500 deposit for emotional damage protection in order to even CONSIDER dating anyone.
We as a society of ADULTS need to freaking do better.
This is not where it’s at
