Orlando to Miami was reaching $90 for one way, people were able to find flights for that amount & sometimes less.
Yet China has built more rail which moves more people and they are not worried about getting rich off the system, China is focus on providing for the citizens. China prices are low and their trains are faster and comfortable.
There need to be a station at port canaveral! Not in cocoa! And probably one in Melbourne
When you run a basic train and selling tickets thinking you an airplane. You lose money 💰. Set one price. Provide free parking you will become profitable
Brightline was a good idea, but failed to attract enough ridership. Could it be that the destination cities FAILED to provide shuttle service to actual tourist attractions ?

Well for alot of us ,transportation at the other end is a problem. Stations with zero resources available nearby we need even more expensive transportation to make the train work,so you might as well drive and have transportation available to you as you need not waiting on a train schedule and then ride service on top if the cost makes it a stupid choice as I can accomplish the mission with less revenue in my own vehicles, or a rental for that matter. Lots of transition time when using a rail system.
