Fertilizer runoff from South America
Why is it brown? 🌴
To learn more about the sargassum visit- https://cwcgom.aoml.noaa.gov/SIR/
I was here to see it and it smelled…. But it’s the ocean doing a “cleanse” I was told.
This is a natural thing that happens and it's habit purpose is determined by the Lord. It will pass in it's time. No big deal.
I'm headed there now.. of course it's brown..a week out of the year, seven years since I went anywhere..lol.. I feel like Castanza...
I don't know what the big deal is. This happened all the time when I was a kid. Ya just swam thru it. My brother used to shove a handful down the back of my bathing suit. There's lots of baby sea critters in there. Just let it be. Toughen up young'uns.
Im a 42yr old fort lauderdale native. Im yet to understand people's mortal fear & detest of seaweed lmfao
I'm not sad. The ocean needs to regenerate itself. Imagine how happy the marine life is.
