Georgia Homeowner Shot Three Masked Teens Dead After They Tried to Rob His Yard at 4 a.m.
Isaiah Reid, 16, Jaime Hernandez, 15, and Brandon Gresham, 16, of Conyers were masked. Sheriff Eric Levett said one teen opened fire first. The homeowner fired back. All three suspects died.
Levett called it a stand-your-ground case. No charges against the homeowner

About time the victim isn't the one charged with the crime. Though I would be interested to know if the homeowner's skin color matched that of the perpetrators.
He has a right to defend his property. They should not have been there!!
We have to do something to protect ourselves.
This happened in September 2019, a very sad incident but citizens have the right to protect themselves and their property.
Doesn’t matter what color, what age, they were trespassing. The man had a right to protect his property and family. I would do the same thing.
These guys fired first and got what they deserved. However a lot of the comments here are outright racist and there is absolutely no need for that! You cannot paint an entire race of people with the same paintbrush as a smaller percentage of that race. These guys were thugs. They were criminals. Regardless of the color of their skin.
Isn’t this really old? Isn’t it common sense that if someone shoots at you first, you can shoot back?
I hate this. I hate that three teens were making such life or death choices. But the truth is I hope it sends a message…judges don’t hold criminals accountable and so every home owner needs to defend themselves. Maybe the message will get out and wake the rest up! Prayers for the families of all involved
Long ago when I was a kid they had a public service announcement on TV. “It’s 10 p.m. do you know where your children are?” Might want to bring that back.
