Hello everyone, today I took my grandson to the lake to walk around and ended up having to cut one of these birds from a mess of fishing line. The bird was frantic and could have lost their life. This isnt the first time I’ve found a mess of fishing line at Wolf Lake, just thrown on the ground. PLEASE, IF YOURE GOING TO FISH, CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF! HAVE SOME RESPECT! DONT BE A LITTER BUG OR A JERK.
That goes for anywhere you go. Stop throwing your trash on the ground.!

We had an Ibis at Northlake with a line around it's leg. Leg was dragging and most likely a dead limb. A few of us tried to rescue it but failed. It's sad to see wildlife affected like that. Some people have zero regard for their litter.
People do so much damage when they don’t care about nature. Thanks for doing the right thing! 💕
