I enjoyed watching him and his team. He was just so joyous!
Perfectly said, Victor
Love this guy.
It’s a powerful and very human moment. Victor Glover expressing gratitude like that reminds people that even at the highest levels of science and space exploration, there’s still room for faith, humility, and awe. His words capture something a lot of people feel but can’t easily explain the idea that some experiences are so overwhelming they go beyond logic or even personal understanding. Seeing Earth from that perspective, traveling around the moon, it can shift how someone views life, purpose, and even spirituality.
The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good. Ps 14:1 There is God up there brother, you are so blessed to testify this through His creation. Praise Him
May God continue to guide and protect you, Victor Glover, and your team. Your gratitude is truly inspiring and a testament to the power of faith.
Amen! The power of faith is truly amazing!
They were inspiring and moved me greatly and made me so proud to be American- they renewed faith in the best of humanity
Praise be to God for the entire mission, and especially that spectacular landing! I'm also thankful for the research and hard work by NASA and the crew. This crew member's humble spirit is inspiring!
Can he explain to us where he thinks God resides. Did he see anything like heaven or it's gate up there??
Something like 18 of the 24 moon bound astronauts were Christians
A lot of Christians were praying for this mission.
They are the creators of history
without a doubt there were a lot of prayers offered up for your safe return... especially that last 10 minutes and it was so good to see those final 3 chutes pop out... thank you Jesus and Mr. President for getting us back in space...
I believe any person seeing outer space is certainly witnessing God! There is no other answer!
Today, astronaut Victor Glover mentioned that he wanted to publicly thank God, reflecting on the immense privilege of the mission. We all know that God is not a superman up in the sky, but an infinite intelligent world, with additional dimensions inaccessible from our point of view because we lack one or more spatial dimensions, as God told Moses in Exodus 3:2: “You cannot see my face, just as no one can see my face and live.” What a long journey, from the Dawn of Man in Africa to the journey beyond the Moon, we should all paraphrase astronaut Victor Glover, yes, I do.
“Never mock God, for His power is beyond measure. Be thankful in all things, remembering He is the true source of life and every blessing.”
They placed their hand on the Bible and swore to travel around the Moon.
At first glance, I thought this was a post about Gary Sheffield
I thought they went on April 1
He’s like acting in multiple bodies as main character
Let us celebrate that the US Constitution is still a shining beacon, and that Americans are free to express their faith without trying to enforce it on others. I’m an atheist, but have great respect for this man, his faith and his achievements.
Learning a little bit of science will drive you away from God, but learning a lot of science will bring you right back.
That’s a powerful statement… it really makes you think. I love how he describes gratitude as something too big for one body
Beyond the Lunar flyby, he saw God's finest handwriting!!
A real life Captain America
Charlie Kirk would wonder if he is really qualified.
Seeing planet earth from afar and another celestial body up close and personal HAS to change you forever.
Place their hand on the Bible and vow to orbit the moon
Put this guy in the movies.
Victor Glover=Amazing human being hands down, along with Reid, Christina, and Jeremy. There will be Conspiracy theorists and Nay sayers. I’m 45 years old. I remember my parents talking about the time the “men went on the moon”, when I was a kid. I was not born until after the Apollo missions. This is a very big deal for me.
They look to healthy from a trip to the moon lol
“Kinda wild how this turned into shaving and politics. The message was about faith and gratitude—and that’s what stood out to me.”
They didn't go to the moon, they orbited around the moon. I watched them land and leave the capsule. No conspiracy nut here.
Gratitude always rises when we see the beauty of God’s creation. Moments like this remind us how small we are and how great His power is.
Put their hand on the Bible and swear to going around the moon.
I was in college in 1959 when the first 7 astronauts were chosen! Then in 1962 joined the Navy. I had a hard time believing someone was brave enough to undertake such a mission! Today’s astronauts are beyond brave and dedicated!
Gen. 1:1-2 In the beginning GOD CREATED the heaven and the earth. 2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
Many astronauts who go to space describe a strong sense of awe and often a deeper awareness of God. It must be an incredibly powerful experience.
Returning from the Moon, astronaut Victor Glover thanked God, reflecting that his gratitude was too profound to be confined to a single human form
The man saw God’s glorious universe, and it should be a wake up call to the tiny brain thinkers here on earth
It seems every astronaut I have heard speak after going to space, strongly acknowledges God. Must be spectacularly amazing!
It’s truly heartwarming to see that as we grow in knowledge here on earth, it doesn’t weaken our hold on Christ. If anything, it deepens it. God is the power and the Master Designer behind this ingenuity.
