Most men forget their girlfriend’s birthday. One man in Japan had 35 girlfriends and made sure they never forgot his. 😂🎂
Takashi Miyagawa, a 39-year-old man from Japan’s Kansai region, was arrested after allegedly dating 35 women at the same time and convincing each of them that his birthday fell on a different day.
His actual birthday was November 13.
But one woman believed it was February 22, another thought it was in July, and a third had been told April.
Apparently, having one birthday a year simply wasn’t enough.
Police alleged that Miyagawa pretended to be serious about each relationship, sometimes suggesting marriage might be in their future.
He reportedly met the women through his work selling hydrogen water shower heads and other products, before turning his attention to a rather more lucrative business model.
Collecting birthday presents.
Between them, the women accused him of obtaining around £665 worth of gifts, clothing and cash.
But his elaborate dating calendar eventually caught up with him.
The women discovered what was happening, joined forces, formed a victims’ association and reported him to the police.
Investigators initially identified 35 alleged victims, with the possibility that more could come forward.
Thirty-five girlfriends, dozens of fake birthdays, and a police investigation. All that effort for £665. He would’ve made more money just getting a job at a birthday card shop. 😂🎂💸
