#NO private condo tower on Hollywood public beach
While seaweed is smelly and annoying to many, it will eventually go away. You know what won’t? A 27-30 story condo tower. Let’s focus our efforts on preventing our public land from being ruined with a private condo tower.
Every time you see a post about the seaweed, please educate residents about the fight to save our public beachfront lands:

This is an attempted transfer of our asset worth 100 million to a developer for $250 thousand dollars a year. If it was sold the interest alone to the citizens would be 7 to 10 million a year. So the property is undervalued to the developer by at least 400 times.
Said goodbye to Hollywood. Very sad to see the skyline now and the congestion it caused. Wish the best
Im sure the people being sold the condos should be warned it comes every year, just like the hurricanes,no amount of money will stop it and both will spoil their view.Developers ruin things for everyone. And they dont have clients they have victims.
Tell that to surfside, nothing is permanent. Eventually even the new condos will look decrepit.
One condo tower will lead to hundreds.
Good luck stopping Condos, the developers get what they want, just a matter of time.
I’d much rather have new condo towers than the decrepit buildings lining the boardwalk and the condemned shit hole in the Hollywood beach hotel… The city of Hollywood is so far behind the game and so unreliable it’s embarrassing. Everywhere in South Florida is thriving right now, except Hollywood.
It's all about the Benjamins, unfortunately
Save our public beach land from greedy developers
