Shenzhen-based Lonvi Biosciences is developing an experimental longevity pill containing procyanidin C1, a grape-seed compound designed to target aging cells. CEO Ip Zhu has described the research as potentially transformative, while Chief Technology Officer Lyu Qinghua says living to 150 could eventually become realistic.
The company cites encouraging results in mice, but the treatment has not demonstrated comparable lifespan extension in humans and still requires human testing to establish safety and effectiveness conclusively.
