The Sept 8 agenda has 4 important beach items that may drastically change the barrier island: https://hollywoodfl.legistar.com/Calendar.aspx
You can sign up to speak online if you want to speak from home by WebEx. We recommend signing up to speak online just in case the meeting runs long and you have to leave. Then you can always leave and opt to speak from home instead.
If hundreds sign up online to speak on all 4 beach agenda items, perhaps they will realize that it is ridiculous to have all these items on one agenda. (There are several regular agenda items scheduled before the 4 beach items). You do not have to live in Hollywood in order to speak on an agenda item. You just have to love Hollywood Beach.

Agenda item 4: 2300 room “Tourism Entitlement” for hotels: FILE NO.: 26-F-70c This one will probably be less controversial because it just allows more hotel rooms.
Agenda item 5: 500 “Flexibility Units”: FILE NO.: 26-F-70a
Agenda item 6: 1301 S Ocean Drive, Private condo tower on public land. FILE NO.: 25-RESO-73a Anyone wishing to oppose the site plan for a private condo on public land should sign up for this item.
