I’d love his name if you know him. His school is likely Robert Markham. The principal has been notified and there is a police report.

I’m in public safety and crime prevention. This is pretty common in our community. Make sure you have your home and vehicles secured at all times. Don’t leave anything of value in sight for a thief to snatch. Hopefully someone finds out who this person is and they are charged.

Well, you are in a strong blue Democrat county that is much more dense than anywhere in Colorado. Pompano Beach has a lot of criminals. That kid who stole a bike from your garage committed a burglary (felony). How does it make you feel to see a felony being committed by a little kid?

As a long time resident of Pompano Beach, 1 week, I witnessed a couple teenage idiots riding, at a high rate of speed, dirt bikes this early evening. If it happens again, I will have to decide the best way to stop their reckless behavior. A couple of things. First with some of the asinine comments, I can only assume some of you are the parents of these little thieves. Let’s keep it local and let’s support the local police/sheriff’s to shut this bad behavior down. I also suggest to the keeper of this page to block any anonymous account accounts and fake accounts. Their comments are the worst. I plan to stay here for years and I have zero desire to allow illegal behavior to happen in my neighborhood. I hope they catch this punk and put him in juvenile detention until he’s 18. That is how you handle these punks.

Police encourage you to use identifier numbers etched in bike. I think they even offer to do it for you, so that if it is found, it can be identified. Also, air tags help. You could have followed him home with that.

Pompano Beach is a great town. As with many towns, there are some bad kids and some lower income pockets and streets that aren’t great and a bit of crime as in every town. No town is perfect.. Don’t buy into all of the negativity you are hearing in these responses. That’s my two cents from living here for four years. Additionally, unless you know for sure, do not assume that this child is a student at Markham. Because parents can choose to send their children to pretty much any school or home school.

Never had anything stolen. Be vigilant and aware. Get to know your neighbors and neighborhood... And don't become a Karen (not saying that you are).
