Update on our public land at 1301 S Ocean Dr:
Hollywood’s Planning & Development Board are citizen volunteers. They are not paid to be there, nor are they elected. They are appointed by the City Commission.
Their votes are recommendations, and the city commission can always choose to override their recommendations and vote against the recommendations.
You can speak your mind about this project when it gets heard again by the City Commission.

We are hearing that this might be on Oct 7th, so mark your calendars. You can also speak about it during general Citizen Comments at 5 pm on Sept 16. During Citizen Comments, members of the public can speak about any topic in the city for up to 3 minutes.
