We have heard that both 1301 AND the proposed beach height/density program are going to be placed last on an already packed agenda for Sept 8th.
Please ask P&D and city staff to defer to a later date when they can be standalone items. These important topics should be solo agenda items, not placed on a packed agenda. Please suggest deferring these items to Oct, Nov, or Dec. This would also allow time for the staff to properly advertise these meetings in the next New Horizons, and time for snowbirds to return to Hollywood.
Unfortunately, the only public information sessions have been rushed and held mostly during work hours. This is not respectful to working folks in our city.

They already Sunny Isles the Dania Beach and all commissioners and mayors Stonewall any voter as if the snarled traffic is not happening not their fault and not their problem to address...but they just approve another 250 more dense projects because lawyers do not stop them and out of town developers grease palms. The carpetbaggers blame Broward MPO or FDOT for the gridlock then term limit out and run in other municipalities to create more chaos the voters do not want. A blizzard of mindless skyscrapers without any first floor non resident retal stores or restaurants.
