With all the king tide flooding along the broadwalk in Hollywood Beach, it reminds me that we live on a barrier Island that is for the most part controlled by mother nature. Today I was at the Casamar condominium in Pompano Beach. We were attempting to protect their property from this ongoing problem. Unfortunately, most of the people that live there are not aware of the issues we face living on the barrier Island. Today was a perfect example of why we need to build the continuous dune.
