You step onboard determined to do nothing but…

· · 27.10.2026 11:53

You step onboard determined to do nothing but read, sip, and nap. By day two the plan has quietly evolved into a quest to check every deck, sample every snack, and stroll until the horizon looks familiar.
That Relaxation Deck sign still exists, but it competes with yoga on the promenade, sunset power-walks, and the irresistible call of the buffet. Your watch quietly flashes 25,327 steps and suddenly finding a lounger feels like winning the Olympics.
Cruises are the only vacations that come with scenic cross-training built in. Embrace the sweaty, glorious paradox: you came to relax and left with bragging rights and a sunburn. Tell me your best ship step total and whether you earned it with sightseeing or dessert hunting.

On a Cruise? No. WDW? Yes.
Yes but only because it’s 2000 steps to go for a cigarette and back! 😅
Yep, and in bed by 7:30
I walked over one hundred thousand steps in 5 days. Oh lort.
Everyone’s cruise is different. Everyone goes on a cruise for different reasons to get different things out of it.
Of course. The first thing I do is check your make sure it has a proper gym. Then it was 7 days of training in the morning at 7am. I eat healthy. Not the crap food on board. The. It's pool and hot tub. Then back to the gym at 530pm. Then eat and in bed by 10. To do it again tomorrow I would love a fitness only cruise
